About the project

About the project

Due to the Council of Ministers launched a special NGO Programme for the Baltic Sea Region in October 2006, which funds co-operation between Nordic, Baltic, Polish, Belarusian and Russian NGOs we came to the set up co-operation agreement between 4 NGOs:

1- VITATEAM NGO, Estonia

2- The Swedish Centre for International Youth Exchange (CIU)

3- New Faces, Belarus

4- SUPSU, Russia

The initiator of this co-operation is VITATEAM, Estonia. The project helps to expand the capacities of NGOs involved into 2 years (September 2009-August 2011) activities both on local and international levels. One of the outcome results will be the network of NGOs. It will also be open for other partners on local level what will broaden the benefits of the project in a wider prospective. The other thing that the NGOs will work on throughout the whole project is a bunch of closely related topics, such as: youth and unemployment, youth and human trafficking, youth and life-long learning. Working methods that will be used within the co-operation are very various: sharing experience, learning and using new working methods, describing it and adjusting to the local situation and sharing with society - all that is in focus of this long-term co-operation. Swedish partners will share their innovative method as ELD – Experience Learn Describe.
