Special Kindergarten no 213 in Warsaw (2007-PL-57)

Special Kindergarten No 213 in Warsaw is an educational establishment for mentally handicapped children and youth. Volunteers task is to help the children in everyday activities and to participate in organizing and coordinating therapeutic activities, different thematic workshops, excursions, theatre etc. 
Needed 2 volunteers for the period of 9 months between October 2010 and June 2011.


European School Club in 1st AdamMickiewiczHigh School in Kolno (2007-PL-68)

European School Club is an informal group of students and teachers who focuses on expanding their knowledge about Europe (historical, geographical, cultural and economic). Volunteers get involved in club activities as well as initiate their own actions and lead them. They also take part in the realization of local and nationwide projects and prepare workshops concerning minorities, racism, anti-semitism, xenophobia, etc.
The Club needs 1 volunteer for the period of 9 months between October 2010 and June 2011.


Special Kindergarten No 393 in Warsaw (2007-PL-107)

Special Kindergarten No 393 is an educational establishment for physically disabled children (cerebral spastically, genetics definitive etc.) Volunteers participate in the classes and help the staff with changing children’s clothes, feeding the children or help them eat their meals, go to the toilet. Most of the activities are group oriented. Children spend most of the time playing, so the volunteers play with them a lot.
The Kindergarten needs 2 volunteers for the period of 9 months between October 2010 and June 2011.


European Integration Club at the School Complex in Wojkowice (2008-PL-51)

European Integration Club at the School Complex in Wojkowice is a European School Club in a high school in Silesia. Volunteers work with the club members, get involved in school exchanges and yearly German-Polish exchange. The volunteers prepare workshops, presentations and activities with the goal of making students aware of issues related to Europe. They are also expected to help the students to improve and widen their language skills.  
The Club needs 2 volunteers for the period of 9 months between October 2010 and June 2011.

Youth Centre Oberndorf Start Sept. 2010

1 volunteer The center is the main meeting point in Oberndorf for the youth scene between 12 – 18 years. Target groups are beside the local youth scene especially disadvantaged and underprivileged youngsters as migrants, unemployed, and socially discriminated youngsters etc.
The volunteer should look after the youth in the centre, should talk with them and play games with them(billiard, chess, table soccer), serve drinks and snacks from the bar. S/he can make her/his own project or just help the team with existing projects.  S/he can assist to the workshops we plan and help the team by organising(about 2 times a month) special activities like: sport competitions, quiz-games, a performance,etc). Keck
Youth Centre Get2Gether Start Sept. 2010
10 months

1 volunteer Get2gether is a youth centre located in the district of Gnigl. It is open Tuesday till Saturday. THe volunteer will assist the team with the everyday-programme, like sports, youth centre, elderly home, children’s newspaper, community garden, etc. We welcome the volunteer to create new ideas and inputs for the everyday-programme.  We expect the volunteer to create some kind of work (video, booklet, ...) about the EVS experience in Get2gether.


Lernwerkstatt Wikilewe Start Sept. 2010

1 volunteer The “WIKILEWE” - school combines a pre-school group of 5 children and a school group of 10 children (4-10 years old). 
The volunteer is asked to support our team with excursions, workshops and other outdoor activities. The volunteer should create and plan actities with the children in the frame of the daily routine at the school. Open-minded to this kind of education system, creative

1-2 volunteers Spektrum is the headorganisation of several socio-cultural initiatives in different city districts, like: Lehen, Taxham and Maxglan.

Areas in which our volunteers are actively involved:

1)Adventure playground and children and youth centre Taxham, mobile animation and children and youth centre at Lehen

2) children and youth centre “Komm” in Maxglan

Going with the play bus or the play bike to playgrounds in the districts and trying to animate youth to play and join the team.  The volunteer can help us by planning and administrating different projects,e.g. in the youth center in Lehen, on the playgrounds, on the adventure playground in Taxham or in the children and youth center at Maxglan Basic level of german, creative and initiative
